In time, I will share editing and administrative capability with other section members.  Eventually we can entertain discussion forums, blogs and linkages with other sections, and other forest interests.  A future newsletter (remember Mack), could evolve and be generated from this site as well.

The United Nations has declared this the International year of Forests, and since we are very much a forest nation, our role should almost be one of leadership.  More on this soon, but for now, please check out their video and website for activities that are taking place around the world.  Two YouTube videos worth checking out are as follows:
